Meritorious Service Peer Support Team Award
The PSPSA Meritorious Service Team Award is awarded to a First Responder Peer Support Team for their diligence and perseverance in serving others, and whose service is above what is normally required or expected of a Peer Support Team. Peer Support Team Candidates will be selected based upon nominations and how well they meet the spirit of the award criteria for meritorious service.
Your assistance is requested in the nominations for the PSPSA 2024 Meritorious Service Team Award. The team award will be presented on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at the PSPSA Wellness on the Frontline 2024 Conference at Paradise Point Resort, San Diego, California.
Peer Support Team Candidates will be selected based upon nominations and how well they meet the spirit of the award criteria for meritorious service.
Please assist the PSPSA awards committee by presenting your nominations before the deadline of September 24, 2024. Submit nominations to Anna Bell at president@pspsa.org.
The awards committee looks forward to the challenge of selecting a team recipient for the PSPSA 2024 Meritorious Service Team Award, based upon the degree of meritorious service and excellence demonstrated by the Team’s actions for calendar year 2023 (January 1, 2023 through December 31, 2023). Please share and submit your nominations of Peer Support Teams whose service is above what is normally required or expected of a Peer Support Team in accordance with the award criteria.

The 2021 Meritorious Service Peer Support Team Award recipient was the California Highway Patrol (CHP) Office of Employee Safety and Assistance (OESA) Team.
The 2019 Meritorious Service Peer Support Team Award recipient was Los Angeles County Fire Department Peer Support Team.
